Does the Tech Package or Premium Package Nav have a video input?

Just like the title says. Does the 7" or 8" navigation options have a way to tap into a a video input like a dvd player or something?

I believe the Tech package does. I know that there is a front camera KDM (i think) option which would need an input.

The NavTV video in motion override does have video input. I have the unit, so that I can confirm. I will be installing Apple TV soon, to allow for bluetooth streaming as well as iPhone mirroring. The video input is necessary for this.

I can check the stock harness when i crack open the dash to confirm the camera input if no one else can offer up an answer, but i will be a bit before i do this mod....waiting for warmer weather.

That is amazing to hear. I will be looking forward to your project. I am planning something similar but on the other side od the fence. My friend who has a b8s4 is doing the apple tv route and i was curious to see if it is possible for myself to follow suit but with android.

You will need the video in motion from NavTV for exactly that, should you want to utilize DVD playback or Mirroring. Cannot comment on the rest for the Android unfortunately.

Once all the video in motion from NavTV is installed, you can add HDMI to Composite converter, plug it using the 3.5 jack in the center console and by adding Chrome cast you should be all set, as it now supports Android mirroring:
