Downloaded the new software update for my 2023 GV80 via USB stick

Interesting that the navigation updates for both 2022 and 2023 Gv80 are no longer available for online download.

That is very interesting. I've been checking the download site every 2-3 days hoping for an updated version. I know it was still available for download this past Tuesday.
On last Saturday ( 7 days ago) I send a lengthy email to the Hyundai Corporate PR group somewhere on the East side of the Atlantic. In my email I included a link to this specific chain in the forum. Maybe the issue got PR's attention and it was referred to someone higher up the food chain than the Genesis and mapnsoft trouble tech groups. Of course, who knows if they even read my email!!

At any rate, I think this is a very good sign that they took down the download site.

So I guess that tells me that the one for the 2021 has no issues and is safe to install. I will be putting up outdoor decorations tomorrow so I guess I will idle it in the driveway while I am out there.

This is a good sign. There are still details on the October update on the Genesis website, but I just checked the download utility and it’s unavailable. Also, on the Mapnsoft website, the updates for purchase have been delayed until December. Fingers crossed for progress.

I posted this in another similar thread. I just installed the most recent update and noticed the speed limit indicator in the HUD has disappeared after the update. It is there while the system is starting up, then vanishes.

Thats the problem everyone of experiencing after installing the latest update. Still waiting for the update from Mapnsoft/Genesis.

I noticed the voice recognition no longer works for me. Not sure if this is related to installing the update. I rebooted the system and no change.

YES-My voice recognition no longer works after the update as well.

I did the update and voice recognition still works fine. Strange.

I don’t see it, only available for USA 2021 model years.

That’s is weird.
I did download something for 2023 Gv80, but system message was that the update was incompatible when I plugged the usb stick into vehicle.
This is after Genesis helpline told me this afternoon that downloads were now available. Just a continuation of confusion!
I will go back and check downloader.

Correct, “download for this vehicle is not yet available”. I must have selected 2021 Gv80 accidentally! Sorry!

No problem. I went to the order site, and you can order a USB stick for the 2022 GV80 but not the 2023. Funny thing is you cannot download the 2022 update.

Do you have 22 GV80 with HDA2? If so how is different from 21 model yr.

No, I have the 2023 Prestige with HDA I. All three are really the same. Main difference is the selection knob I have rather than the disc.

Followed up on my case with mapnsoft and received this:

"The update for your vehicle has been delayed. We are still waiting to find out when the release will be. We will let you know when it will be rereleased as soon as we hear something."

I have 22 3.5 prestige with HDA2, was wondering how is it different from 21 as i see downloads available for 21 and were taken out for 22 and 23.
