I checked my owners manual to see what interval to change the drive belt on my 2009 3.8L sedan. The manual states to inspect at several intervals but none giving a actual mileage.
To my knowledge the belt is original with 102k miles and I feel it should be replaced. I inspected the belt and it looks really good with no cracks or potential issues however I would feel at more ease to replace it. Is is difficult to perform? Can this be performed in the driveway?

Below: #1 is the drive belt; #2 is the tensioner. Is a special tool needed to remove the tension? I assume I'll need a socket (size?) for the nut indicated by the red arrow below. Can someone please confirm the procedure?

Thank you!
