Alright, guys and gals, let's see if anyone has any experience that might help me with my newest Genesis issue.
Yesterday I washed my 2015 5.0 Ultimate (the horror) and drove my wife to date night where everything functioned per usual. When we got home, I backed the car in the garage as normal (where I assume the mirrors both dipped like normal) got out without locking and closed the garage door (so mirrors aren't folded when the car is in the garage.) It was 65 degrees yesterday, and only got down to 43 last night, so the garage probably never dipped below 50.
Got in the car about an hour ago to come to work (my favorite on a Sunday when I'm supposed to have a salaried 9-5...) started up as normal but then got a warning to "Check BSD system" and the Outside temp display in the cluster was flashing "---." I pulled out of the garage closed the door with homelink (working fine) killed the car and restarted to see if that helped, to no avail. Then I noticed that on this sunny day the Driver's side mirror was still dimmed, while the other two mirrors were bright as they should be in the middle of the day. I then tried to power fold with the switch, and only the passenger mirror folded. Tried to adjust driver's mirror position, no dice. When I got to work, I got out of the car, mirror still dimmed even when the car is off, and when I hit the handle button to lock, the passenger mirror folded, driver mirror didn't move but the indicator light on the mirror actually did flash.
So the mirror is completely unresponsive, other than being stuck in the dimmed state, and the indicator light functioning normally.
I adjusted the driver's mirror position after washing (I guess I got a little aggressive and moved it while I washed it) and put it a little higher than it had been (I could swear it wasn't returning to the position I originally stored, but I couldn't be sure of that) so I even reset my memory position to save the new setting and hopefully fix that issue.
The hell is happening... Thoughts?
