  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So now we have progressed from texting while driving to watching videos. Wow, the gene pool needs to be thinned. Hopefully these fools kill themselves and not innocent people in other cars.

TOOOOO SHEA, well spoken. For god sakes smarten up, my kids are on those streets, so pay attention to what your doing. I know it could never happen to you, right. I believe the fine here is 275$ and thats the least of your worries.

I converted to allow the PASSENGERS to view a video while I drive..

I agree there should be a way to prevent the DRIVER from viewing the screen , A short shield could pop from the left side of the dis to block view from that angle or the screen could pivot to the right ..

I will say that not watching the video is FAR less distracting than searching my ipod while I drive via the DIS...

In this province (BC) if you have an active Video screen in plan sight for the driver to view the law accomadates a police officer to issue a $275.00 for driving with undue care and attention. Good luck with your roll of the dice.
