  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Own a 2010 Sedan, 3.8, with Premium package. Could someone tell me if, upon turning off the engine, the steering wheel is supposed to move up and back and the seat rearward for easy exiting? In my car, only the steering wheel moves.

And, upon reentering, sometimes the wheel returns to the memory set position when starting the motor, and sometimes it does not. It will always do so if the start button is pressed once without depressing the brake pedal. What should be happening? Is there a way to reset the system to make this work properly.

Thanks,

Regie

I have the same as you, with the same result. I believe only the Tech package has the seat retraction feature.

There is a TSB on the steering wheel limit switch which seems to be responsible for the tilt/telescoping problems many members have experienced. I had mine serviced a couple of months ago and the problem was resolved, at least so far.

Please, what is a TSB?
And what kinds of probs are you aware of?

Thanks
