  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

3.3T Ecu tune

If i could rewind. I would do ECU/TCU and CPI first. Those are the only three mods I have on my car currently and it ran 11.29 with a shitty 60ft and 3.3 0-60 like that. Stock intake, 100% stock exhaust, stock intercooler.
And that's on full E85 right?

Central Port Injection (I think)
Is that a separate set of injectors aside from the main DI setup, similar to how Subaru/Toyota do on the BRZ/86?

I've been reading up on the state of ECU/TCU tuning, and it seems that the Stinger and pre-'22 Genesis G70 (and any other 3.3T applications) have been pretty well unlocked and have a multitude of tunes available, but the '22 G70 have some differences that still need to be unpacked.

I'm mainly interested in a moderate bump in HP/TQ, but with the TCU, hopefully we can get some crisper response for around town driving and the like.

I get about extra power but what's bad about our stock TCU? Only annoying thing to me is the torque limiting on launch but not something that bothers me on normal town driving. Honestly curious to see what's I'm missing from just doing a JB4. Thanks!

Nothing…unless you want to be the fastest G70 on the planet.

Noobish question, what is "CPI"?
Charge Pipe Injection. Its a 7th injector on the intercooler. It runs off the low pressure fuel pump to relieve pressure from the high pressure fuel pump to allow more E85

JB4 is great but doesn't do anything to help launch. TCU is required to get really strong launches.

hey guys,

just got Lozic's new order form as i'm getting the TCU, a lot of new options on it! anyone tried the "like sport +" option on the TCU?

From my understanding that just mimics 2022 sport+ transmission behavior in a 2019-2021 car.

Man Lozic is a busy guy. In the past month there have been 7 revisions to the order form - on V26 now. Looks like he's learning new things with the 2022+ cars. Apparently to get the full power launch without limits, you also need to select 'like brake snip' on the 22 cars, not just 'torque limits off'. There are also now a couple other shifting options, top speed governor removal, high or low strength for boost ready, etc.

Wow, that's good to hear he's adapting so fast. Can you post the latest?

Just another data point for others considering the Lozic ECU/TCU route. My wife's been running it for about 11 months now on her 2022 Sport Prestige AWD. Stock plugs, no other mods. Runs great. In Sport mode it's just plain angry.

Has anyone tried the sport + setting on the TCU for 2021 and older cars?

Well guys getting car tonight (2019 awd G70 3.3) and going to tune the ECU & the TCU i am not a fan of piggyback tunes for many reasons so i am going to send mine in for sure. My main goal for this car is turn key daily driver with the most on 93 fuel not getting it to meth or corn on this car. What would be your pick Lap 3 or Lozic? Going to do intakes, down pipes & maybe FMIC if there is a company that makes one that fits well! Main goal is a very nice smooth powerful tune that can launch very hard with the all wheel drive. What tune would tailor to the add on mods? Who follows up on data logs better and makes small tweaks to the tune? Or are both of these tuners more of a canned tune style, or maybe just do intake & tunes if not mush is gained with DP & FMIC?
Thank you!!!!! Matt

Bit of advice unless you are taking engine out don't do downpipes.

They are that bad i have car lifts?
Thank you
no room to work in especially on passenger side - I had a couple of studs snap off in the turbo on drivers side when I put mine in to get done - was shitting bricks thinking I was stuck with an engine that needed taking out. Guy managed to drill out old studs and re-tap them - god knows how. Sold the downpipes to a guy.
