  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Electric GV70

Nice to see this thread is still going strong after all this time. I haven't been on here for quite some time. Been busy transitioning to life in Alberta for the past year or so. I still have the two eGV70s but I'm thinking of adding an ICE vehicle again.

How's the EV ownership in the coldest province of Canada? Would you wait for the EREV GV70 to address range issues?

You know, it isn't too bad. Driving between Calgary and Edmonton does require one stop to recharge, but in the summer months even that isn't an absolute must do. For city driving, I still think our eG70s are hard to beat.

I am probably not going to go for the EREV, as I've already had 5 GV70s in one form or another. If I go for another electric vehicle, the new Cayenne is pretty nice. For now though, I'm thinking gasoline. I admit I'm all over the place with what type of car that would be.

Cool, nice to know it's not turning to be a bad experience at all...

The Cayenne is a bit too big for my taste, the Macan is more in line with the size of vehicle I prefer, but it also have to do with the fact that I regularly have to go park in Montréal where space is at a premium, the bigger the car, the likeliest it is to get damaged...😒
