Emblem question

New (to me) 09 Genesis sedan. Wings all around. I have had car 4 days.

Get to work today and I'm missing a rear wheel center cap. No bumps. I'm thinking somebody wanted one as a paperweight or something.

Center cap at dealer is $50 !! I have looked on line and wing emblems come in sets of four for the wheels. Anybody sell them solo?

Also original emblems put on by dealer so my concern is a match between the aftermarket replacement and the others. Are they all pretty much identical to the eye?

KDM is a good source with fast shipping.
Last time I checked the caps were $15 each for a set of four.

Was that a stick-on emblem for the center portion of the 18" 4.6 wheel cap, or the entire wheel cap?

Those are for the V6 18" wheels. Is that what you had on before you lost one?
Some people prefer the V8 18" ones which are aftermarket and a lot more $.

I have v8. 18 in wheels. Site states will fit 09 sedan?? Should fit, no???

Yes they "fit" but they are not the same shape as the OEM hubs for USA Genesis. You need to check to see if the ones you have now look like the ones on the web site you mentioned, or the 18" V8 Wheel cap set on this site: http://www.kdmstuff.com/ (sorry, no direct link to the product is possible).

I think Im good to go. The caps on my Genesis are smooth like the pictured V6 in your link. The V8 caps appear to be "scalloped" not at all like mine.

I guess I lucked out on this one.

I guess you could say you lucked out, but the scalloped ones are like the originals that came with your Hyundai before the KDM were put on as replacements (except that the originals have "H" instead of wings).

Didnt know that. Ill put the difference towards a couple of tanks of gas.
