  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It is white but I looked online at Poway and they were gone. A dealer in Tracy had 2 2014 Rspecs left. This one was on the show room floor. The other one was that greyish blue color. I wish the white one had black interior (as I think the black interior looks way better) but its the cashmere and the wife liked it so we got the white one. ITs a damn fun car to drive. I got stuck with the Caddy today. I ended up racing a new GS350 F sport this morning. WE went bumper to bumper and all I could think of was DAMN WHY DIDNT I HAVE THE R-SPEC!!!!!

Dang, that GS350 should be a decent amount quicker than the XTS

A white 3.8 Tech was my first choice, but when shopping for a '13 left over in April of '14, none were to be had. So I settled for the fastest 3.8 color - Platinum Metallic.

I still love the Gen 1 in white.

Ours is a standard V6 not the twin turbo XTS-V. I wasn't surprised you spin your wheels for a couple of car links (which is what he did) and you aint beating anyone street light to street light. The GS350 type F should be much quicker 0-60 than the XTS. Although that XTS is no slouch

The XTS V-Sport is 'supposed' to do 0-60 in 4.9 seconds but most people are getting 5.2. That's still a few tenths faster than the Lexus GS F-Sport. Now if you're talking about the GS-F, which isn't for sale yet, that'll be another story.

The naturally aspirated XTS isn't anything special in the performance department. I've driven that one. But it's a nice, luxurious, comfortable cruiser...

That explains it.

Me three. I got a new Parisian Grey 2014 R-Spec in April of 2015. The dealer was very interested in selling it, so like the OP, I got it for about 37K. Then I got a 100K/84month platinum no deductible warranty for just $1,250. I now have just under 8,000 miles on the Genny and I couldn't be more satisfied.
