  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

There's lots of threads about accessing the engineering menu on 2009-2012, but nothing on how to do it for 2013.

Any thoughts/ideas?

Found anything yet? I tried pressing, I think, every possible combination of buttons. I even tried pressing the 2009-2012 button locations and haven't found it yet. I have a 2014 Genesis Sedan Tech and would like to know as well.

+1 There must be something for the newer Techs....

It's different between the DIS and touch screen,

I'll look them up and post if someone hasn't beat me to it

Hello guys, any update on this?

I was able to access the "BLUETOOTH ENGINEERING MODE" by following a guide on this forum and without even knowing how I did I ended up in a "DEV MODE" with more options but I have no clue how to go back there.

I own a 2013 Genesis Sedan 3.8L with Lexicon touchscreen NAVI.

Let me know if you found out how to access the full ENG Sub Menu. I'd like to change the bootup screen!

Thanks!

Okay do basically, I got into DEV MODE by going into de SETUP screen in nav mode and when you see the globe with the satellites, just press on the globe with you finger (without being over a satellite) and keep your finger there for about 3 seconds... Unfortunately there is not that much options out there...

Still have no idea how to do it in the DIS car. Wonder if we go into the same screen and hold the DIS knob down? Hmmm.

That's a good question... I've seen people getting in the ENG sub menu by pushing multiple buttons at the same time...

Here's what I did on my touchscreen only/lexicon nav system:

Here is what I did:

I can get into two "hidden" screen.

1) BLUETOOTH ENGINEERING MODE

- Press the PHONE button
- Go in the SETUP screen (I don't remember what is the exact menu caption but it's when you change the phone/bluetooth settings)
- Press the lower left blank/black space about 1/8 inches from the lower left corner of the screen one time and then press the upper right blank/black space about 1/8 inches from the upper right corner of the screen one time as well

2) DEV_MODE

- In GPS/Navigation mode, push the SETUP button
- Go in INFO (I don't remember what is the exact menu caption but it's when you see the globe with the satellites)
- Press the globe (by making sure you are not over a satellite) for about 3 seconds

I'm pretty sure we can get something out of the AMOS menu screen...

Let me know if you find anything else or if you have trouble getting there since I don't remember exactly all I did. I will do a video tutorial if needed.
