I was also having this problem until I did the 12.5-v13 update this morning. Now it works fine.
How do you update to that?

I had the same problem until yesterday, I had tried popping out the SD card last week like someone suggested and it didn't work. However, yesterday we were driving and I decided to pop it out again while driving (I was the passenger) down the interstate. I left it out for about 15 minutes. When I reinserted the SD card, it brought the clock and date display back after reboot. This was after being told by hyundai the day before that there wasn't a fix yet.I noticed the digital time on the touch screen would take a long time to update and display after I start my 2015 3.8 sedan. This morning, funny enough, driving to the dealership for an oil change I noticed the date and time was completely off (Was set to Feb). So I manually reset it. I told the service guys and they said they rebooted the system and said they could not get the time to display. To my surprise, after I drove off I noticed it was not displaying the date and time anymore at all even after a long drive. I tried to go into the clock and set it myself but it would not allow me to. Even if I switched off GPS to manually enter the time the option was all grayed out. Is there a way to reboot/reset the system manually?

That is good to hear, so upgrading to the latest version seems to mitigate this issue, therefore, this seems to validate it is firmware related issue and not GPS hardware related.I was also having this problem until I did the 12.5-v13 update this morning. Now it works fine.
