  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Yesterday, while the Genesis was getting its oil changed, I had the fortune to test drive a signature Equus. To say the least, that car felt and handled great. Although at this time, the Equus is over by budget range, and the fact that I've only had my Genesis for over a month, I started to wonder how my car would look with Equus wheels on it.

I've noticed the Equus wheels are very similar in design to the Prada Genesis wheels. Personally, I think it would look great. Im just conflicted about rolling in a Genesis with Equus badges on the wheels. The center caps are too big to even replace with the Genesis wings. Am I overthinking this detail? Or would I look like a poser? I'd like to get your thoughts on this.

The less money you spend on pimping your current car, the sooner you will be able to buy a new one (assuming you save the money you would have spent on pimping).

I guess to each their own. I'm not a fan of the Equus wheels, at all.

I personally love the idea.
If you were to get an aftermarket wheel, they would be different brand than the genesis wheel anyways, so whats the difference in switching to equus wheels...
but i am probably a little biased because i've done this on one of my other cars, by putting Bentley Mulliner wheels on my Audi, because i loved the style, and they worked perfectly for my odd fitment requirements
...but if you like it, that should be all that matters, no matter what a select few people might say

and i would probably buy equus wheels for the genny if i didn't already buy aftermarket wheels for it

If you're gonna buy Equus wheels for your Genny, you might as well get Equus emblems for the front and back ;)

Great points by everyone. Personally, I like the equus wheels, but it would not feel right. I might as well get the Equus. I decided that I will go with the Vossen vvs083. Im still deciding if I should go with 19s or 20s. Staggered setup.
