  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So last Wednesday I go into the Hyundai dealership peaking around at the new 2010 Genesis 2.0t. My first question to the saleman is how can we make this happen if I want to get out of a lease with my Pontiac? The dealers response to me is well we can get to numbers after if you would like to have a test drive. So of course before he is done finishing his sentence im handing him my license to get ready and go for the test drive, after a few minutes we walk out to a 2010 genesis 2.0t prem package. As soon as I opened the door I knew it was meant to be. I went for the test drive, fell in love with the car and now im waiting for my 2010 Genesis 2.0t GT to be shipped here within hopefully this week because I ordered it last wednesday. Im soo excited.
Im almost thinking its one of the first few 2.0T Gt's that are in calgary because I have not seen any and there was none on the salemans paper while he was searching for one.

Congrats on the order!
Any news on it? I doubt you'll be getting your car that fast. There are several members of this forum and others that have been waiting a long time for their coupes. GTs are in very limited supply, and unless you paid a premium, or you weren't picky on color, then you most likely will be waiting for several weeks, if not multiple month.
My car was ordered at the begining of may. I have yet to hear from the dealership about an ETA.

Really?? thats wierd they found my Maribeau Blue 2.0t gt with no problems and its already at the car dealership, windows tinted, paint protected. Im going to pick it up tomorrow. I live in canada if that makes a difference about the orders?

Congratulations! Post pictures when you get your Genesis Coupe! :)

Well I got my 2.0t GT coupe yesterday, and I absolutly love it. I cant stop driving, its amazing. I will get some pictures this afternoon and upload them later, I have a couple on my computer with the car at the dealership without tint etc but I have to resize them. Although right after I pick it up yesterday, I go pick my buddy mechanic up and we are cruising around so after I drop him back off at his car he looks under the rear end and notices well damn, theres a bolt missing out of the Rear Diff so I called my dealer and they said well drive it and bring it in on Monday. So no big problems, 1 missing bolt isnt going to stop me from driving this lovely car.

Congrats on your car. However, no need to go to the dealer with the "missing bolt". Every Genesis Coupe ever made is missing it.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Hahaha, and before I came to the forums I stopped at the dealership today at lunch and well yeah everyone is right its manufactured like that but funny part is they didnt know about it yet, so if any other calgarians are looking under the car and see a missing bolt dont panic.

looking forward to seeing those pics.

i have to say though, i am seriously upset with my dealership. I put a deposit down on the 9th of May.
it is now the 17th of June and i still don't have a VIN, or ETA.

You got really lucky.
