Factory Chromed Wheels

Are there chromed wheels available from Hyundai? If, does anyone know pricing?
My dealer has no clue. Maybe Genesis will become their own brand someday. That would be good for all of us!

I am riding on Chrome Factory 17inch rims right now. Go to discount tire and get a swap price and if you also get new tires as I did get the $200 rebate on the Dunlops also.

I've been looking for this very item for my 4.6 tech and have had no luck either. I've even been considering what it would cost and how much of a PITA it would be to have my current wheels chromed but haven't went that far yet. I'll check into this discount tire option as I didn't know about it until now. Good info.

I was thinking about this as well. I will be buying winter tires and rims soon , and I thought it would be nice to send my rims out to be chromed while the winter ones are on if I could find a really goog place around the Toronto area that does good chroming work.

Anyone know of a place in the GTA that does good chrome work?

You may want to check Wheel Concepts located in SoCal. The wheels/caps I got look great. Take a look at the pictures of my car posted in my album. Then contact these guys to see what they have and the current costs. Their stock varies and they may not have any Genesis wheels available.

I did an exchange which involved them sending me OEM chromes, and then I had to send them back my wheels. Involved a deposit, which was returned immediately when they received my wheels and did an inspection (wheels must be same as those shipped, and contain no significant damage).

I just sent Wheel Concepts an email to see if they had an exchange program for the V6 18" wheels. I also requested a price for chroming mine if they didn't. I'll let you guys know pricing once they reply.

Remember to get a TPMS seal kit for each wheel and also that the rims are replace wheel for wheel to eliminate having to re-register each sender if they go into different locations.

There are really only about 4 places in the US that actually does the chroming!
You will find it is easier to get 18 inch rims as compared to the 17inch rims.
If you get it done via discount tire, all these hassles are eliminated for you an exchange program eliminates you having to sell a rim set.
For 18 inch rims there should not be any problem in finding them, Just call TIRE Rack tell them what you want and they should be able to connect you up.
