  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

I have 2015 awd with ultimate ppackage with about 3000 miles on it. I can feel engine vibration on the steering wheel when at a stop. It is slightly more pronounced with AC on. Stopped by service had a tech sit in car. He said it was normal, but so few new genesis delivered it is hard to tell what is normal. Should I feel some vibration, or am I overly picky? At first oil change I plan on asking to sit in similar vehicle to see if their is a difference. Are there other new owners with this experience?

Best thing to is like you said sit in another one. I can't really I say I notice it.

is the engine vibration almost similar to a rattle?? i get something like that when I accelerate. it gets worse when I drive it in ECO mode.

no rattles. just feeling like a hand massager coming thru steering wheel, feel more when stopped and when ac is on. I just think that a 50 thousand plus car should be more smooth??

I dont know but would think this car has fluid filled motor mounts. I feel nothing in mine and always look for that nvh when testing cars do you also feel it with your foot on the gas pedal?

Never heard that complaint before in the last 5+ years, so I doubt it is normal. Obviously, you will need to compare against another 2015 Ultimate (also try another dealer, but drive up in a different car if possible).

2012 is smooth at idle. Can maybe feel a miniscule amount of vibration with the AC on, but it's not enough to complain about, imo.

Is it a v6 or v8

v6 with awd, notice it more with ac on and when stopped or in park

AC puts additional load on the engine. You may be feeling vibration due to the engine mounts.

5.0 no vibration at all even with ac must be different motor mounts.

I have it as well..but in my opinion its not enough to warrant a visit to the dealer..I assumed it something to do with ECO being on or the AWD system, and it doesnt happen all the time for me..just every once in awhile
