Finally got my white V8 with tech!!!

After 12 weeks of waiting for a white V8 with tech package, here's mine with tinted windows and chrome factory wheels. I love the look and am glad I waited for the white. The pictures do not do this car justice.

After driving it for 2 days, I'm going to sell my TOYOTA stock!!! This car is AMAZING!!

I've added a close up of the stock chrome wheels. I like the look.

Since when are chrome wheels stock? I like these ones better than the ones that came on mine... What gives?

I say "stock" because they are the stock wheels chromed. Although I LOVE the tint, I'm likely to get pulled over.

Congratulations! Quick question about the chromes. Did the dealer chrome them for you or did you take care of it aftermarket? If you don't mind sharing the cost of your chromes. I prefer chromes and want to put them on my blk 4.6.

When I walked into the show room they had them on a silver car which looked awesome. They had $2400 written on the sticker for the price. I told them that I could buy nicer after market wheels for 1/2 that, although I really haven't found a set that looked this good in my opinion. I negotiated them down to what they said was their cost (doubt it) of $1100 which I thought was fair. This was the only set they had because they had to take the car out of the showroom and swap them with my car.

I don't know if they get them from Korea chromed (doubt it) or if it's something they did on their own. You can always call them - Roseville Hyundai in Roseville CA.

As I said, once I saw them on the car I fell in love with them. The silver one that they had them on looked better the any silver Mercedes I have ever seen.

I found an chrome exchange company which carried the 18" 5 spokes for my GS430. OEM Rims in Anaheim has several listings on ebay but since the Genesis is somewhat new, it may take a while for either of the 18" Genesis wheels to be made available for exchange. The quality of their work is excellent and the prce is extremely reasonable. I paid $550 for all 4 tires and provide them with the originals. The wheels were triple chrome plated and were authentic Lexus product. I will call them to see if there are plans to add and will let the site know.

did they chrome the plastic centers? This is what I was worried about.

My GS didn't have the same kind of hub our Genesis does so I don't know how durable the process on the center hubs will be. I will see what I can find out from them.

I work for a Hyundai dealership as a service advisor. Although we haven't gotten a set of chrome Genesis wheels from KDM, we have gotten chrome 5 spoke 17" Sonata, 17" Azera, & 17" SantaFe wheels in & swapped the with vehicles on the lot. They cost us about a grand to get, plus markup comes to about $1200.00 & we have to turn the old wheels in as a core charge.

Thanks! I can't tell you how many people drive by the car and turn their head around to see if there's an emblem on the front to figure out what it is... it's pretty damn funny.

I've had people ask me if it's a Bentley... I guess it's the Genesis emblem on the trunk that makes them ask...

I love the car!! In fact, I'm considering buying another one for my wife.

We have had a few sets of wheels chromed and they have been about $200-$250 per wheel with them dipping the wheels we provide. Add in the labor to dismount/mount the tires on the wheels and they can run over a grand.
