Picked up my brand new 2013 R-Spec today. Titanium Gray, window tint, trunk wings, block heater.

Haven't driven it much as it is pouring outside.

For pics, see Dereck, as the car looks the same, minus the LEDs, hood wings, and KN filter. And no sushi either.

Drives nice. Stereo great. Everything works fine. Sorry to see the Mazda CX7 GT go, but it was time.

Welcome to the family! Get the LEDs in the doors and rear plate. Very easy mod, and looks awesome at night.

Thanx. As you know I have been trolling around here for a couple of months. They gave me a Hyundai chrome plate but I'll swap that out. BTW, do you guys come and install the LEDs? I am sure I will mess it up. Like Home Depot use to advertise 'you can do it! We can help!' I'd tell them clerks that if it so easy, get your asses over to my house and help me out! A short time later, they disbanded that slogan.

I think I will wait a short while til I do anything to the car. I really do not like Sushi.

And everyone loves the colour. Its like a chameleon cause under different lighting conditions, the car colour changes dramatically. Doesn't the Titanium Gray have less problems as well?

I also have a 2013 titanium rspec with weathertech mats.
I added the LED trunk lights, tag lights, and vanity lights.
I have LED fog lights ready to install, and will be trying a bulb in the next few days that is supposed to make a white DRL.

The titanium is the fastest and best looking one.

I was driving home Monday late afternoon on the highway, and zipped right by a white 2013 RSPEC, as if he was crawling. Not sure on how fast the white RSPECs travel. The one I saw was not travelling very fast. lol

Don't know. I was going Titanium Gray fast, and whoever it was, was going white slow. Didn't even see who was driving

For the aircaraft to be able to break the speed of sound the titanium must be painted white. True fact.

Titanium in the Aerospace market

The SR-71 "Blackbird" war plane was the first aircraft to use titanium extensively in its structure and skin. The aerodynamic friction that resulted from the intense speeds of which the aircraft was capable created so much aerodynamic friction that if any other metal was used, it would simply melt out of the sky. In fact, it was so fast, that if anyone fired a surface to air missile at it – the standard evasive procedure was to simply accelerate and outrun it! Holding the record of the fastest aircraft in the world for over 30 years, the Blackbird reached speeds of 3500km an hour, or three times the speed of sound. Today, about two thirds of all titanium metal produced is used in aircraft engines and frames. As an example, the A380 Aerobus uses approximately 70 tons of titanium for the aircraft structure and fittings.

Anyways, white, black, gray silver, I really am enjoying this car, contrary to some of the professional reviews. Its very quick, solid on the road, comfortable and roomy, handles fine, love the stereo, and nobody knows what the hell it is!
