Thanx guys. I took it their Saturday afternoon shortly after it happened. Naturally, they give service techies Saturdays off. The sales people, all 5 of them thought maybe to disconnect the fuse and reconnect, but they didnt know which fuse. So we disconnected the battery for a few with no luck. Now they are booking me an appt Tuesday, and they think maybe software and do a full software update...3 hours.
So no nav, bluetooth or anything on the screen. Affecting the small screen between speedo and tach. XM radio stations are nto showing, and everytime u turn it to XM, the preview channel sounds. Won't stay on any station, AM FM or XM, and very slow to switch stations in the same band. I do not know what temp my HVAC is set at, and I dont know where I am going lol!
Screen is mostly just plain black, but between frequently and occasionally, it flickers white. Not fun at night.
We know it is not the screen cause the backup camera displays, and that is it. The radio kinda works, so its not the head unit. And all HVAC works too, but what settings, I cannot say.
Most of the DISP functions work except the radio part.
SO I will bring the car in Tuesday, and probably have to leave it there for a few hours in case they have o update the software. They do not offer loaners to anyone regardless what Hyundai you drive but the salesman offered to drive me home, and then come deliver it back to me when its done. Thats okay since I have paperwork to do so I do not need the car.
I will definitely let yo guys know what the problem is, and how they sorted it out, but that will be Tuesday evening. I also posted the same in the problem area as well, so it'll be posted there too!
