So my first experience with the service valet sucks. I made an appointment on the app for the car to be picked up for the 3k service on my new g70 from Genesis of Oak Park IL. All seems great until the day before with no email or text from the dealer I call to confirm.
Sorry, not sure what happened but we are not picking up your car, nor do we have you scheduled. No biggie, I schedule with them for next week. Seemed odd, and shit happens so what. Day of the pickup comes and they are an hour late. Again, I am a kind and caring person and yes it screwed with my day and no it is not the end of the world.
The service they did does not show up online and I called them about that. The service manager will call me back... (no call back) I am again, not frustrated, I will call them back in a couple of days. Now fast forward today as I go to wash my car, what do I notice but cigarette ash between the driver door and seat. I also notice some ash stuck to the window (it was raining when they picked it up.)
At this point I am pissed. More so venting here on a Sunday as I decide what I am going to do. Is this the end of the world? No. Is it a shitty dealer experience overall. Yes
