If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone found a front end bra for this car? There's nothing on the Hyundai site. I have a road trip coming up and I would certainly like to protect my front end during the ride. Let me know. Thanks.

I did an Xpel Ultimate clear-bra on my front bumper and my side mirrors. I wish I'd gotten the whole hood done. I realize that XPel Ultimate might be more permanent (and potentially pricier) than what you were looking for, as it sounds like you're just looking for something for the trip. Having said that, I've yet to drive this thing on the highway and not wipe at least 100 bugs off the front, and that's just on a 100 mile round trip.

I had the whole front done from the front doors forward. I also had the rear bumper done. Drove it to Florida round trip. Plenty of bugs and stuff on that trip. It's looks as good as the first day.:D

I'll definitely be doing this on my next car, which will be a while. Already dropped more than 3G into mods for this car.

It's NEVER too late or too soon to protect your paint from what Mother Nature and other drivers hurl at your vehicle. Just make sure the proper paint correction is done before your PPF is installed.

My sedan has Expel, installed professionally.,10 year parts and labor warranty. I installed 3M Aerogauard myself on my coupe... A very learning procedure. It has a 5 year parts warranty.

You can still use sealants on top to keep gloss high with added repellency. And don't forget to film your headlamps!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/201263059964 This what I got cheap in price but actually pretty good quality and precision cut it all matches perfect... Even came with headlight protectors and door Handel insert protectors...

I know you've already mentioned, but just wanted to double check how the quality is? Do you recommend it?

Spend the money. Get the Xpel treatment, do the whole hood, front and rear fenders, mirrors, rear bumper, and door edges.

Get it done from an authorized installer.

Pay the money.

Don't go on the cheap for a "deal".

Get the Xpel.

It's worth every cent, and if it's done by a professional authorized installer, you won't even know it's on the car.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm definitely considering the Xpel. I reached out to an authorized Xpel dealer and he quoted:

Standard Coverage Package $750 installed including sales tax
- 24” Hood, Fender, Mirror and Door Cup kit
- Front Bumper kit
- Headlight and Fog Light kit

Full Coverage Package $1300 installed including sales tax
- Full Wrapped Hood
- Full Wrapped Fenders
- Mirrors and Door Cups
- Front Bumper kit
- Headlight and Fog Light kit
- Front of Roof and A-Pillar kit

I use all precut patterns from Xpel software cut on Xpel Ultimate PPF and
SunTek clearcoated Paint Protection Film. The SunTek film has a 5 year
manufacturer's warranty and the Xpel Ultimate has a 10 year. I typically
use the Xpel on light cars as it resists discoloring slightly better, and I
use the SunTek on dark cars as it is much more forgiving and leaves less
distortion in the adhesive.

I recommended for less than $100. Hood coverage is about 18inches, I did it my self with patience and lot of light... All precut pieces are pretty accurate and like I mentioned it comes with headlight, mirrors and handle cuffs. I would get it and have a professional install it unless you feel confident....
Also the orange peel is very minimal and I was surprised how unoticible it is in plain daylight....:D;)

Thanks! I have also placed an order for the same. Lets see how it turns out.:)

I did a clear bra that covers front bumper to middle portion of hood, headlights and mirrors.

Reviving this thread because I'm curious of those that had the Xpel Ultimate installed...

Are you happy with it?
What all did you have covered?
What sort of prices were you paying?

I'm not a stranger to Xpel being installed on previous cars, but the Ultimate wasn't available then.

I love it! It's definitely helped reduce the nicks/dings on my front end. The only reservation I have is I'm not entirely sure how to clean the edges, which seem to attract their fair share of grime (and it definitely shows on a white car when that happens). But even with that, I'd rather have it than not. The Genesis front-end takes a beating.

I had the front bumper and front mirrors done. If I had it to do all over again, I'd do the front bumper, front mirrors, and definitely the rear bumper, where I have a couple of nicks (you notice these things when you hand-wash your own car).

I don't remember what I paid honestly... $500? Somewhere in that range, give or take $100.

I used Scotchgard™ Paint Protection Film Pro Series. I covered the front bumper to middle portion of hood, and mirrors. It has a warranty for 7 years. The installer also did my rear badging on the side. You can google the product.
