  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Has anyone been able to find one? I have searched on line with no success.

Are you talking about a PPF (paint protection film) clear bra or one of those ugly leathery looking things that (usually older) people put on their cars?

It's all about clear PPF now. Any wrapping shop can custom apply one for you, many tint shops do as well. You don't need anything specifically made for the G70 if you go that route. Besides, no one really makes custom car bras anymore for new cars.....because, well, wraps and PPF.

I started looking for the bras when I was quoted $1200 for the 3M film. This was just for the hood and the mirrors. Guess I’ve been out of touch!

Correct. My brother has a Printing company and do this all the time, mainly wrapping cars and trucks with personalized graphics.

The dealer I bought my demo G70 had a Llumar Platinum film installed on the front facing areas of the car, including bumper, hood, mirrors and front fenders. It is a very expensive product at over $3000 Canadian, but it is supposed to have a lifetime warranty, and has regenerative properties as well. I wouldn't have likely spent this kind of money myself for something like this, but since it was already installed by the dealer and I got the car at a nice discount as a demo I'll see how it holds up over time.

I purchased and installed a partial PPF... It does not cover the whole front end but protects part of the front without spending a lot of money.

That sounds like a deal to me. In Southern acalifornia, the quotes I’ve been given range from $1,900 to $2,200 for the hood, bumper and mirrors

Think I'll go off the deep end and just order a giant, bulk roll of 3M clearbra and pray to the film gods that my small background of installing window decals and phone screen protectors is enough...
May the force be with you Absintheuphoria... :banghead:

Saw on Ebay about $250. Full front and mirrors. Precut 3m.

We're getting one installed today. Front bumper, hood, headlights, full front fenders, and mirrors. $1550 CAD all in. I'll post pictures when we pick it up tonight or maybe tomorrow. When we went in, they were doing an E63s AMG, and they had just finished a Ferrari 488, so I think it's in good hands.
