  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Front mud flaps

Yes sir! I have been following Formula 1 since early 90's and have seen most if not all documentaries/movies.

That guy was awesome! So sad how he passed away......

I just ordered the mud flaps from genesisparts andaccessories.com I hope they help with the brake dust I’m getting on the rocker panels on my Sports Prestige with the Brembo brakes.

Have you guys passed a white paper towel on the rocker panels it comes out black after just one day of driving. I’ve gotten brake dust my pants getting in and out of the car multiple times now. I also noticed that the inside bottom portion of the door is not insulated so the brake dust even gets in the inside portion of the rocker panels as well. The paper towels comes out black with brake dust there as well just not as bad, but it is coming in. This is something Genesis needs to address the same way the top inside portion of the door is insulated so should the bottom part be as well not only to keep brake dust from coming in, but even high flooding waters from entering the car as well.

I cannot say. The dealer I have ordered from keeps dicking around and says they are not available so I ordered them myself and waiting for the arrival..... Thx for the update c3po33

The front mudflaps are comical. I got them installed for free as part of a dealer mess up. When I received the car, they didn’t look complete. It looked like 1/2 of the flap was missing. The mudflap is only a few inches. The cost of it doesn’t line up with the material used.

I just want them to balance out the car since i have them in the back

That's the way I look at it. For me, it was was the $45.00 for some balance and a little bit of protection. See my pix and a couple other's.

Thanks guys for all the insight in this! Wanted front mud guards for a long time! No questions asked from dealer to install them.

Are those OEMs? Don't look like typical Hyundai design. Hope there are OEM mud guards for this car. They don't offer the best protection, but the best integration IMO. They look good, while providing some protection. That's exactly what I need living in the desert :).

I bought them from genesispartsandaccessories.com

Thank you. They actually stick down a lot lower than previous vehicles, so they should work better. Will search for them as soon as I have the car home. Don't want to go crazy buying crap, and then something happens. Ha ha. Only bought the windshield sunscreens, since it's 100+ here already. But will wait for the rest. Need to buy those mud guards, OEM trunk mat, and LEDs if there are any incandescent bulbs (are they?), visor airbag covers, and that's about it, I think. Need to tint it too, but that's separate.

No worries ELP_JC If you are in the desert I know how hot it gets; crazy hot. And the sandstorms can be a challenge. Snowplows plowing sand; very weird...
