  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi All
Can anybody tell me how to replace the front drivers side parking light bulb on a 2009 Genny 4.6
I am unable to remove the headlight housing. Is there a hidden fastener that is not visible?

Thanks

To remove the Head Lamp Housing, you need to pull the driver side Bumper Cover off, that will give you enough room to wiggle the Head Lamp Housing and remove it

Very helpful, Thanks!!

Weird that I've had two bulbs go out on one side and never had to replace the other side.

Used these instructions last night to swap hi-beam, DRL, and fogs. For future reference to reach fogs all you need to remove is the corner skid plates (as illustrated in image 4 of 6 above). Thanks to all you bad mofos.

I'm literally only bumping this because I'm at work, found this on a google search, and want to find it easily when I get home on my personal computer :P So happy dead thread bump!

A few notes as i just finished this job.
Do front bumper 3 first.
Than the screw in the wheel well in front bumper 4. I only took 1 bolt off of the driver side red bumper cover on the driver side of the grill and was able to peel back the front bumper enough to take out the headlight assembly. A little tugging and inched it out from the side panel toward the center.
Now there are 3 bolts holding the housing, the 2 on top, and the third is unfortunately situated in the corner toward the center of the car. I used craftsman finger sockets to get at the 10 mm bolt.
Than pull the bumper cover down a little and pull the headlight straight out to free it of its clip, once it barely clears the bumper by an inch the back of the lamp is easy to reach.
Thank you so much 2010V6Tech!
