Front seat question

Didn't think of it when I purchased my '11 sedan a few months ago: does the driver's seat retract each time the car is parked as it does on the '15s?

I believe that's an optional setting. My 2010 seat did not retract on exit and I asked my service manager about it - he had a tech change a setting, which took about a minute, and the seat now retracts. I don't have the tech package - it may be that setting can be changed through the DIS.

I didn't pay any attention to this detail when I got the car I set the position and never gave it more thought but then I saw a post about this feature and... Time to head off to the dealer. Thanks!

I disabled it in my '13
There is an option for the seat and a steering wheel (iirc) .....check in settings.

I have it set where just the steering wheel moves in. (but this won't apply to the base model without the power tilt & tele wheel)

If you have the tech package you can change the car settings. No trip to dealer.

No tech package in mine. I'm not sure that I liked it in the 2015 I drove recently I was just curious-now I know.. Thanks to all.

If you do not have memory seats and a telescoping steering wheel then you do not have this feature. Of course we don't know what you have because you haven't told us anything about your vehicle.
