  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Seller,

I would have sent you money but your unwilling to send photos of your wheels. You stated you have a set of wheels for sale but your building another house and your wheels are some where in storage and wont take the time to dig them out to send photos unless your paid, and to top it off your were super rude about the entire thing. Like I'm putting you out or something.

Yes this is my first post, but no where new to buying parts and such.

Good luck with your new home, and hope all works out for you. If at some point you change your attitude and would like to sell your wheels with photos that are clear and I can see what I'm buying and a set of lowering links I will be more than happy to restart this conversation.

Keep in mind that your a seller and I'm a buyer, but you need to be in-tune with how to sell a product and meet the same needs you would request if your were to be on the receiving end like me.

Re: FS: 22 Inch Savini Black Machined Di Forza BM4 Chrome Wheels & All Season Tires P

MODS – I’VE BEEN A MEMBER FOR SOME TIME, SOLD QUITE A FEW THINGS, AND WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECAITE IT IF THIS THREAD IS LOCKED IF POSSIBLE SINCE ARGUING ON THE INTERNET IS POINTLESS, ESPECIALLY FOR THOSE OF US WHO COME HERE TO GAIN KNOWLEDGE AND SHARE AMONGST FRIENDS.

FIRST - To anyone SERIOUSLY interested in not wasting others time (like this individual):

1. The wheels and tires are in very, very good condition; and
2. LOCAL PICKUP ONLY – THAT MEANS NO SHIPPING PLS!

To respond (respectfully) to this individuals comments about me being RUDE.

My family just moved and we have a 4000+ square ft. house jammed to the rafters in a single storage unit. I respectfully stated the wheels would take about 6 hours to remove from storage. Frustratingly, I also explained I already removed them a couple weeks ago for another potential buyer, taking valuable time away from my two toddlers on the weekend to do so, all for the potential buyer to say after seeing them, nah…I don’t like the design of the wheel now seeing it in person. REALLY! Ok, fine, but I am not doing this again until I have at least a down payment, sorry.

I respect some buyers want to see things up close or in person (thus local pickup only), and I presented the above frustrating story to the individual bashing me. Expecting them to be reasonable and not ask me to pull the wheels again (since their condition is very, very good), I instead attempted to provide added peace of mind by providing my ebay profile, 78Cayenne. 100% feedback with numerous multi thousand dollar transactions, and years of flawless feedback. Thus, I highly doubt my character should be in question.

I also went a step further in offered kindness by telling the individual that all my tools were also in storage. However, I would be willing to pull or buy the necessary tools I needed to help assemble a lowering link kit for them as well. Again, not sure whose character here should be in question as I was bending over backwards for them IMHO?

The best part of all this is, after finding out they were not local, I offered to even help them with shipping, EVEN THOUGH MY AD CLEARLY STATES I WILL NOT SHIP, and pull the wheels out of storage again, even loading and driving them to a UPS facility to have them mailed once they paid. SOMEHOW I'M RUDE??? I most certainly think not!

Despite ALL this, and my willingness to go the extra mile for them by helping with shipment coordination, the inquisitor still pressed me to pull the wheels over and over and when I finally said NO THANKS, I will pass on selling, they decided to go Smart-A, telling me to “Chill out Bro.” Then, they decide to come onto the board and post that I am RUDE in addition? Pointless!

In hindsight, I should have not tried to help them and stuck with I AM NOT SHIPPING, best of luck to you. Now see where my kindness and willingness to help gets me, into a pointless online debate with someone who likely had little intention anyway.

FOR THE RECORD - I’M VERY HAPPY TO MEET ANY Q OR GENESIS OWNER LOCAL TO ME AND PULL THE WHEELS ONCE I HAVE A LEGITIMATE DOWNPAYMENT SO MY TIME, AND THEIRS IS NOT WASTED. ONCE MY FAMILY MOVES I WILL ALSO BE HAPPY TO TAKE CLOSE UP PICS AND POST THEM, FURTHER VERIFYING THE GREAT CONDITION OF THE WHEELS & TIRES.

P.S. – TO THIS INDIVDUAL - Respectfully, the wheels will go to a good home eventually, someone who knows the value of a dollar and will appreciate and enjoy them in good health, realizing they are getting a steal! This is not me being rude, its just the truth of the matter. For a measly $1k, less than the price of the tires alone, I am simply not in a position time wise to entertain casual onlookers. To someone who has money, knows what they want, respects others time, and the local pickup only request, this will be a great deal. If someone has a shipper and wants to have them picked up at the storage unit on their time and dime, I would be glad to help as I am a very reasonable person. Otherwise, the wheels can sit in storage until the right buyer comes along.

In parting, I hope you change your tune and understand that coming on here to badmouth someone, especially a seller VERY willing to help you, is not respectful in the least.
