Originally brought the car in for a bunch of squeaks/rattles, loose rearview, whistling from the driver window, flutter from 25-35 when cold and a whine while under acceleration from 55-70 mph. Didn't know that interior quality issues aren't covered after 12/12k. The dealer is pushing a fuel induction service on me. Says that the previous owner may have used cheap gas due to "excessive carbon build up on the tail pipes'. But then went on to say how impressed he was with the vehicle's service history when he looked up the vin. Pretty sure all cars have carbon build up on the tail pipes. They want $259 for the service. It sounds like a way for the dealer to make money for putting something in the fuel tank. Any thoughts or experience with this service? They have yet been able to diagnose the whine but acknowledge it's there. Pretty sure it's the rear end.
