Good afternoon everyone.
This is my first time posting anything on this forum and I’m just looking for some advice or suggestions on what to do with my current dilemma.
A little more than 5 months ago, I leased a BRAND NEW 2021 Genesis G70. Early this month I broke down on the side of the highway after the car was doing some really weird things, to which a road ranger pulled up behind me and as soon as he walked up to the passenger side door, he immediately told me to cut the car off cause he smelled raw fuel. That being said I had to get the car towed to my Genesis dealership and service center to which they told me that that fuel injector needed to be replaced.
Is this common on a brand new car??? Has anyone experienced this before??? The service center still has my car. It’s been 3 weeks now and it’s still not fixed. Now they’re waiting on a turbo to be replaced. It just seems like it’s one thing after another and quite honestly I’m scared to even take the car back.
So again, just looking for some advice or suggestions on what I should do next. Should I take the car back to where I got it and request to trade it in for something else? I appreciate any and all tips!
