  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

It would useful for our forum to post a small library of pictures of the fuse locations on both driver and passenger side for the Genesis. This would be useful for those of us that have played around with the fuses and mistakenly re-used a fuse in the wrong location!

I am quite sure that the fuse locations/types differ with the Genesis models and options. The two most complete models (from a fuse point-of-view) are:
a) V6 Tech
b) V8 Tech

The following would also be useful:
a) V6 Premium
b) V6 Premium Plus
c) V8 Premium
d) V8 Premium Plus

This information is on the hmaservice.com site under:

Service Information > Shop > (select the vehicle model and engine) > Body Electrical System > Fuses and Relays

There are diagrams showing the positioning of all of the fuse boxes as well as the fuse positions.

What color did you paint the brake calipers? Got any pictures? The ones in your album must be before the painting.

How did the new tires and Rims effect the ride?

Speaking of painted calipers. I would love to put Bembo's on car. Anybody know if they make Brembo's for the Sedan?

GRIPPERDON,

I painted my calipers black. You're correct, I painted them a couple of weeks after I took the pictures. I live up north (Canada) and the road crews spread a lot of salt on the roads in the winter... so within a few years, the calipers rapidly rust and they look like hell. My hope is that the caliper paint will delay this from happening.

Sorry, I don't have a picture on hand; besides, black is relatively subtle anyway.
