  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

So Installed the BMS 450HP kit now deciding between the ***-less down pipes or High flow cats.. I live in FL so don't have to worry about smog. Was curious about what HP gains I could expect with either set up and if I do go ***-less will I need to do anything with the tune to not throw CEL?
Cons / Benefits of each for anyone that has done it?

Sorry if this is already posted, I googled, checked the JB4 forum and looked through here. If it is apologies, can someone point me to it?

As always, thanks in advance!
Tom

Go catless. Since you're in Florida, you don't need the high-flow cats.
You'll get a bit more power and sound without them. The high-flow cats are really just for emissions legality.
Yes, you will get a check engine light with catless downpipes. Your JB4 can likely clear the code for you, or you'll need a separate O2 sensor spacer to prevent it.

You will need a BEF to run catless primaries. You can run catless secondaries though.
