So been seeing in the news related to GM vehicles, and on the Chevy Bolt subreddit, about users getting data collected on their driving habits and their insurance rates going up. I am aware that Genesis Connected Services has data collection on vehicles, and wondering if someone with more knowledge on this topic could drop their 2 cents. Are we able to disable Genesis connected services completely if we so choose, and would there be any downsides? I personally do not pay for the connected services, remote start or nav (first gen owners didn't get it for free like 2nd gen owners do). Would we lose the HUD speed limit warnings, for instance? Would love to completely disable and avoid worrying about insurance going up, but let me know your thoughts.
