Anyone got any clue when this is going to happen? I'd like at least some idea of date and price for Canada. I am registered with the site and have swapped emails about it, but just wondering whether it will be this month, end of spring or beginning of summer or...?

Hyundai Motor America (the USA importer) is a different company that Hyundai Canada. I would contact some local dealers and see if you can find out. You will have to fight the urge of sales people to tell you it not coming for a very long time, so you will buy a different Hyundai or Genesis that they have in stock right now, but maybe you can find a truthful person.

Yes. As soon as dealers get them, they will be for sale. I don't think we have allocations yet, but we are already taking deposits on them.

I am very interested. But I really need trim level information (with features and amenities) along with pricing info before I get serious. A test drive is also in order.

I'm not sure if or how many deposits we've taken. I know it is refundable since we don't have much information on trim levels and no info on pricing yet.

I suspect actual (as opposed to list) pricing may take a bit of time to settle in. I'm thinking mid-to-late summer may be a more realistic time frame for me to consider a (US) purchase.

I am almost 100% sure I’ll be dropping a $1000 on the preorder.. everything I’ve seen is enough for me. I was told an April delivery for the pre orders. The only thing I’m concerned with is back seat room.

At the Montreal auto show, the dealers were saying they expect pricing around 57k for the top spec. Delivery in April, and the deposit is refundable until the day before delivery. They won't apparently have any test drive models until then, but I was assured a test-drive before final purchase would be provided. I am not sure what the US spec will be, but the Canadian models are fully decked out and gorgeous.

I assume that the deposit is still refundable even after test drive as i assume the term " delivery " means purchase of the vehicle

Well I will be cancelling way ahead of the test drive if that is not the case I will tell you that!

NB I did ask for a test drive for a Stinger. First dealer said we have only one and you need a 1k deposit and I don't know when we can do it. Second said we have none but you can order one with us anyway. Third dealer promised to call me last week to confirm for saturday. Needless to say I have no interest in buying from these people.

Thats kinda funny as i have been in a battle with my local Kia dealership trying to even get a quote sent to me i have spoken to 3 different people including the GM of the dealership and still no quote on a top trim Stinger and still no appraisal on a trade in needless to say kia is out of the running and its most likely German or Genesis and my dealings with Genesis reps so far has been better than any dealership i have ever dealt with so its looking really good so far !!!

I don't know how some businesses stay in business. I never got a response from the Hyundai dealer I bought four cars from and ended up buying from another dealer that had what I wanted in stock. Not that it helps, but I did a lot of buying and sourcing in my work. I'd look for three or four prices to get one, maybe two.

Well my first chap got back to me today saying it's now a 4 month wait on a stinger here in Canada. Dude, you won't give me a test drive, you don't seem to have any interest in offering me any incentives, why would I???
