This is very interesting. Can we ask the Moderators to make this a sticky thread?

Should bre read my any Genesis owners too. Aside from Launch control, most of the tips apply to all models. This is very interesting. Can we ask the Moderators to make this a sticky thread?
To add to this. If you are parked and want DRL's off, enable parking brake.DRL's turn on with Ignition -- If the lights are in off position, DRL's are on.
Actually, there's a setting that allows the doors to unlock upon the car being turned off! Go into the settings menu, then to Doors. Just discovered this the other day, as I had been annoyed about the car not unlocking when I turned it off without hitting park. No longer an issue!I use this but that doesn't unlock any of the door. if I need to grab something from the back door, I have to use the fob to unlock it. also I run the engine for like 15 seconds on idle before turning the car off.
Make sure to have traction control turned off!!!If you push the right pedal to the floor it puts aon your face. It gets bigger if you turn the wheel while pressing said pedal.
Mine starts to go up as soon as I turn off the ignition. By the time I open the door, it's up. Remember, you don't have put it into "Park", it goes there automatically from "D" when you turn it off....Quick question- Is there a way to make the steering wheel go up when you put the vehicle in park instead of when you open up the door? When I open up the door I'm ready to get out and hate putting weight on the steering wheel when it is trying to go up.

That’s what she said.I usually just give it a second after I open the door for the steering wheel to raise.

Not until mentioned here. The tilt is slight enough had to switch drive modes while watching the speedo number to really notice. It does tilt slightly to the right and I’ve just never paid that close attention before. Not sure the tilt does anything for me?
Good to know for I have noticed they tilt down, but I don’t use that feature so will try to move the mirror select button to center position to see if that disabled the tilt down feature. At some point down the road, probably after warranty, the plastic gears in the mirror will fail from use and the mirror will lock up. No need for added wear and tear if not needed.Okay, This took a while to figure out.
When you reverse your car, the side mirrors will tilt down to show more of the road and the side walk only if " mirror control selector switch is set to left or right ".
