  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

The Genesis website displays the pricing and options packages in a cleaner format.

Holy moly the base 3.3T is 43k! What a steal at that price compared to what you get with the germans for a stripped out performance model.

If I can lease the awd version for under 500/month no down, I will be the first owner in my area

How many months?
How many miles?

This is what you have to think about. Look at the BIG PICTURE.

Whoever is passionate about leases should maybe start a Leasing Info thread? It is really a topic of its own since many will get a loan or pay cash.
30% isn't anything to sneeze at.
It now accounts for around 30 percent of all new car sales, due to the high average price of new cars and the changing buying habits of American customers. Whether you choose to buy a new vehicle with cash, finance your purchase, or lease, you'll find that any car dealership is equipped to handle the transaction.Feb 2, 2018

Now we need to know which states are on board. Anyone have any new intel on where they will be on sale “this week?”

Agreed, so you're saying that you think lease conversation belongs in the G70 US Availability thread? Given past lease conversations here, this topic can be very chatty!

It's probably easier to do this than have it where you can add packages and such. You just pick a trim based on what you want. Only thing you pick then is AWD or no.

This is the way they have always done it with the G90 and G80 so this should not be a surprise to anyone who knows Genesis. It is actually one of their selling points. There is no nickel and dime for “extras” that should have been included in the first place. Also it enables them to prebuild fewer configurations.

Good for them for finally getting this pricing info out. They've slightly exceeded the "50K for top trim," but not by much, and pretty close to the 52K I'd predicted way back when. So, about what I expected and I think the car is a great value with that MSRP especially if there's some wiggle room there.

Now, of course, the final shoe to drop is when will we see them. Hopefully soon. And there's some reason for optimism.

Initially...the limited release Dynamic was supposed to be Havana Red. There is no mention of that anymore. Only the Design version is stuck with the green.

With that said...if I could get the Dynamic in SI with the gray stitching...I would pay an extra $750 over the Sport for the extra items it has...
  • Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires
  • Performance brake pads
  • Unique electronically controlled suspension tuning
  • Upgraded thermal capacity\cooling system
  • Heated steering wheel (AWD only)...Sport already has this :(
  • Tire Mobility Kit (TMK) for reduced weight

Agreed. They did say “this week.”

Interesting.........I had eliminated the Dynamic edition from consideration because of the forced Havana Red as well. But if color options open up.......

Can’t wait until the configurator is up and running too

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
siberian ice is only available in sport correct?

I noticed the brochure depicts SI as an option with other than just the sport color stiched seats...is there something I missed?

Thanks!
I think you might be right. I have the brochure in my hand...and SI seems available with all seat options...which would mean all trims.

Canada really got f’d.

I called the few VA dealers I have been dealing with. Nobody has allocations for the G70. Perhaps Thu or Fri.
Any info on whether we can just build to order one or is the best way to go to just pick one of the ones that they get?

Also do you think we are absolutely stuck paying sticker in VA? I was hoping we could negotiate a couple thousand dollars under msrp if I agree to a trade in and financing with them.
