G70 US Availability?

I bought my 2018 G80 in October of 2017 so it could be any day now. I bought on the 20th.

They are rolling out along with the G70s. The dealer in New Jersey received some 2019 G80's also.

Unfortunately they don't have the colors listed, just the 9 different 2019 G80s. I would think they would at least have the colors they did for 2018, I want to see Polar Ice, Havana Red and Sevilla Red. Not really interested in the others.

I just got done looking through the features that they have listed for one on the dealers web site but nothing jumped out at me as new. Was hoping that miraculously they would have added folding rear seats and ambient lighting but doesn't seem like it.

Here is a link to the 2019 G80 Sport...home base. I do not know the G80 well...so perhaps folks can chime in. Then again...this is not the G80 section.

I saw a picture of the interior that is allegedly the 2019...to me it looks like they made some improvements in the center console. It was wood, not carbon, and looks like the Qi charger is in a better position. But again, it was an obscure article that seemed to have been translated from Korean. The English was very bad and funny. As far as features, it was hard to tell what was different. I'm a major detail oriented person and I like the nice touches in an interior. I also like things to be super user friendly.

There are no pics but on some of them you can pull up the window sticker. The colors are listed on there.

Perhaps that was the regular G80. One of the features listed on the dealer's site is "Center Console Trim Aluminium". When I first saw the Sport interior I wasn't sure since all of the others I have been looking at has real wood trim but the carbon fiber really grew on me and am looking forward to seeing it in person. Being in the middle of the country it may be awhile until that happens but I guess good things come to those who wait.

Thanks Jack. The ones they have are Havana Red and Victoria black.

A cursory review of the window sticker on a 2019 G80 Sport the only change in features that I could spot was the addition of:
COMFORT & CONVENIENCE
Proximity Key with Push-Button Start (finally).

Does anyone have any thoughts on why this NJ dealer is receiving substantial inventory for all 2109 models and no one else does as of yet? Are they that big of a Genesis dealer?

Got a call from Alexandria, VA dealer. They have 4 on the ground. Three 2.0T and one 3.3T. They are getting cleaned up and ready for sale.

Had a good chat. He plans on selling MSRP. Perhaps one could get a bit off.

But...Genesis will give you $1k incentive if you own a competitor brand. Audi is one of them.

Next...leasing numbers not bad. On that 3.3T the residual (10k) is 55% and MF is 0.00071 (~1.7% APR). So all that is looking great !! Financing is pretty low too. I think he said APR is 1.6% or something.

Anyhoo...have at it folks

Well...perhaps I screwed up?

The S4 I was looking at last week had a residual of 61% (awesome...thus lower payment) and the MF came in close to 3%. Just talked to them...and residual is now 49% (WTF!?!?!...payment goes way up) and the MF is at 4.75%. So my monthly payment on 42 months/7,500 per year went up by $142 !!!! F'ing Genesis.

Wow...so...stay the F away from the Audi dealer in Raleigh, NC. Totally lied to me on lease numbers.

Found out that residual is 55% and the APR (lease) is 3.3%. Wow...what scammers. To add...would not bargain less than 2% off of MSRP. Meanwhile...dealers in northern VA went up to 8% off (plus incentives).

So for Audi peeps shopping...stay clear.

As far as I know, that was available in the 2018 and I think before that in the current G80s. Are you maybe referring to starting the car by pushing a button on the remote? That is not available as far as I know.

Correct. Push button start is NOT push button REMOTE start.
