  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

Yeah...something is off. Perhaps they are finalizing the other building...dunno.
When I was there, Scott told me that their building is brand new so they are not going to build a new Genesis building. It's currently branded Hyundai. I would guess they are going to put up signage at some point and maybe do the store within a store thing.

They cannot do that. In that case...they are probably moving Hyundai somewhere else.

You might be right. Chantilly told me they are going to build a new building but I don't see any ground breaking. They are also inside of a Hyundai dealership. Alexandria is all Hyundai too. I guess for now they are allowed.

I think they have to 2022 or something like that until they need to be in a separate building.

One thing that confuses me about the trims is the mere 1k gap between dynamic and sport. Who wouldn't pay that 1k to just get the sport? Not sure who the Dynamic package is for, it should be a few thousand cheaper.

The Dynamic is $750 more than the Sport.

The G70 3.3T Dynamic Edition, also limited to 400 models in the first year of production, embodies the essence of G70 performance. Its feature content is based on G70 3.3T Sport, plus:

  • Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires
  • Performance brake pads
  • Unique electronically controlled suspension tuning
  • Upgraded thermal capacity
  • Heated steering wheel (AWD only)
  • Tire Mobility Kit (TMK) for reduced weight

Edit. Are you talking about the 2.0T?? I thought you were talking about the 3.3T

Yes I was talking about the 2.0 dynamic which is listed at 9k vs the sport which is 10k.

What a f’ing mess. So Dynamic on the 2.0T is a standard trim...below the Sport.

On the 3.3T...Dynamic is a limited edition run (400 units) and is more expensive than the Sport.

Wow...just wow.

At this point in life...I think I need a flowchart.

For any watchers of "The Good Place" on NBC -- “Jeremy Bearimy"! LOL

The Dynamic Package for the 3.3T is not shown in the Build-Your-Own...??

Did genesis accidentally put the dynamic in the wrong spot for the 2.0? I can't imagine anyone buying a 2.0 dynamic. The only benefit is downgrading the rims to the ones that people seem to like more.

So the 2.0T Sport AWD comes with the Dynamic package, which is summer tires + LSD. But the LSD is RWD only right? So going to the Sport means you're already getting sport rims and summer tires... Am i right or going crazy?

I don't think so. But it is pure stupidity. They added a whole trim level name...just to add upgraded rims for $1k. Mind you...on the RWD...the trim also adds LSD.

So...in theory...in 2.0T AWD 2.0T Sport trim is $2k more than the Elite. The Dynamic is cancelled out since Sport replaces the rims in Dynamic. LOL.

But...what it also is saying is that Sport gets Dynamic...which automatically inherits Standard, Elite and Prestige.

Thank goodness I am just getting the 3.3T AWD Sport.

Right. I think I might have to switch to getting the same one unless one can pick-up a 2.0T Sport AWD without the Dynamic package. I need to test drive both... one of these days *sigh*

I was told that the Dynamic is the best one u can get..it's got everything plus the enhanced suspension, cooling, brakes. It does suck that it don't have a spare tire tho :(
