Was just going to say...LOL.
This is what you paid $750 more over the Sport...
- Michelin Pilot Sport 4S summer tires
- Performance brake pads
- Unique electronically controlled suspension tuning
- Upgraded thermal capacity
- Heated steering wheel (AWD only)
- Tire Mobility Kit (TMK) for reduced weight
In all fairness, the Pilot Sport 4S tires are a pretty significant upgrade over the Pilot Sport 4 tires.
"To add to the confusion, Michelin also has the new Pilot Sport 4. That tire doesn’t hold the same ultimate performance focus as the PS4S and is exclusively a European-market tire, outside of a handful of OEM applications. That’s why there is an ‘S’ in ‘PS4S,’ signifying a level of performance beyond the Pilot Sport 4, similar to Porsche’s badging scheme for the 911 Carrera S versus the standard 911 Carrera."

Now ironically, right now, the PS4's are more expensive on TireRack than the PS4S...but, regardless, you're getting a limited edition car on a superior tire. Whether or not the spare tire or not is worth it should be the decision maker. Me personally, I'll eventually end up running a square 18x9 setup with 255/40/18 or 255/35/18's (slightly shorter than OEM). That way I can rotate them too.
