  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G70 US Availability?

Why both? Google Maps/Waze are better than any stock nav IMO.
Google Maps/Waze doesn't display on the HUD. So she wanted to still have something in the HUD. Waze could still keep her notified about police and such. Perfect combo.

Seems like finding a 3.3 Premiere in Adriatic Blue might take a couple of months/shipments... Anyone seen one yet?

Here is the latest list of dealers that have received the 2019s. We have a new state (NY) and a few more dealers. I also have changed the listings to use the official dealer name as listed in Genesis' dealer locator.

I get the data from the listings on cars.com, cargurus.com and autotrader.com as well as folks posting that they know of a dealer with inventory. Currently there are a few dealers that have inventory but do not have it listed on third party sites. If you run across any dealers that are not on the lost please post the info.

I also ran the "States without Dealers" check on Genesis' web site and the info did not change since the last time. There are still 36 states that do not have dealers according to Genesis.

I will crosspost this on the similar thread.

That is awesome but why is it so skewed to the east? Only 2 states west of the Mississippi, is it the states that are slowing the progress or did Genesis go from east to west filing the paperwork? Seems hard to believe that the majority of western states are that much harder to work with.

If I had to take a guess, I would say they first started in the East as there was a bigger market there. Of course California, Texas and Florida are big markets but it seems like things are being held up in those states due to lawsuits and/or just the process taking longer. All of that is supposition of course but since we don't get the real information that is about all we can do.

You are by far the most friendly, honest and respectful person on this G70 forum. Thank you so much for sharing your car purchase experience with a bunch of strangers. I wish you much enjoyment and happy motoring! 😀

I would also think population density, yet Florida does not come up and that is one of their biggest markets.

It has to be a nightmare dealing with 50 states.

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
Nothing yet in NC. Closest dealership to me is in Columbia, SC, 160 miles away. This is starting to get old.
I agree. Shoot i made an offer for a Kia Stinger GT1 but i havent pulled the trigger yet. Genesis owed us. They better have good incentive offers. Someone start a letter to Genesis thread so we can tell them whats on our mind. Stinger forum has it and it seemed Kia listened with their 2019 line.

You could run your native navigation for turn-by-turn directions in your HUD. Have Waze running on your iPhone (but not through CarPlay) with Alerts Only turned on. You can still stream your tunes through Bluetooth. Note: Not using CarPlay would cause you to lose some of the features of that system such as spoken text messages, etc. Voice commands to your phone should still work, I believe.

Yes, you are correct. I have gotten to really like the text message features through Carplay tho...otherwise I'd probably do exactly what you said. I will figure something out :)
