G70 Windshield replacement cost

There is a substantial insurance cost increase if my deductible was $0 vs $250 (multiplied by every year)...hence me going with $250.

Check & see, Tell us what substantial is. Mine is 1.60/month. So I hit a turkey a few years ago and then had a dually p/u throw a rock into windshield on the other car, trash can flew into side of GMC in storm. Using your $250/deductible that would have been $750 out of pocket for me. As it was it cost me $0.00. You realize you are talking about the Comp deductible, not the Collision deductible. Lower collision deductible does increase premiums substantially, Comprehensive, not so much.

G90 ultimate windshield replaced after 800 miles. Rock on highway Caused chip then cracked immediately. Called my insurance company and they told me to call Safelite. Safelite had to order from dealer. By the time dealer marked it up, Safelite marked it up and installed the bill was close to $5000. Thanks insurance.

Who is your insurance with? I worked in that industry the last 30+ years before I retired and this is terribly out of the norm, almost impossible for a deductible adjustment & two of those three policies would have a rate reduction for multiple vehicle discount which make it extremely doubtful that all three were the same amount. Not that I care but you need another policy agent to verify the amount for you.
