  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

G80 pricing announced!

Jeeeeez, the sarcasm! I think window shades are a nice feature but dark tint does fix that issue. The only thing is that some people don't like dark tint at night and the window shade resolves that problem...
My comment wasn't meant to be sarcasm (for once). I have no idea why they omitted it, and that was the only thing I can think of.

If one gets a high tech tint film, such as a ceramic film, a dark tint (low VLT) isn't needed to reject a lot of heat. I personally have Formula One Pinnacle VLT-50, and a lot of people don't even notice it is tinted, but it rejects 49% of total solar energy (probably more than the shades). Pinnacle also comes in VLT 05, 15, 30, 35, and 40 if more heat rejection is needed.

I love the rear sunshade in my '15 5.0 and the kids like the side shades in our TX sun. I can't believe they would remove them from the '17s while making them optional on the 3.8

And where did the electronic shocks/suspension go on the new 5.0's??? Guess that is how they intend to pay for the worthless Bluelink services.

Congrats to those moving up to the G80! I'm feeling kinda smug that Empire State Gray is about to become unobtainium.

For those who have dissected the window stickers, is the 2017 3.8 RWD Premium more or less equivalent to the 2016 3.8 RWD Technology?

Really? I guess it wasn't a big seller... I think it looks great...
