  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Garcia Factory Air suspension

Yes it is installed, just finished the e-level sensors today. Check out the OFFICIAL Air Suspension thread. My build and vipedoutaz builds are detailed in there.

Hi guys, I'm new to this forum. Anyways, just purchased and installed the Air Force super performance suspension kit this week. Rear bags inflate and deflate as they should, but the front bags maybe only lift 3/4"-1". Double checked everything and have no leaks. Kept the front lines the same length along with the rears. Tank sits at 200 psi, but my bags won't fill up more than 60-70 psi. Does this sound right?

Do you have the sleeve bag or bellows bags up front? I have the older sleeve style bags up front and run 110-114 psi for daily ride height. This is around 25-25.5 inches from fender arch to ground. I do however run less air pressure in the rear around 60-67 depending upon how full the gas tank is. What pressure display are you using to monitor pressure?

Something isn't right somewhere in the system. My bags from aired out to max height changes by about 5-6" I would guess. Your pressure in the bag will also depend on how you have them set on the coil. Any pics of how they currently look?

I am running double billows in the front. The only time they extend all the way is if the car is on the lift. Do you know if there is a max length the line can be ran? Wouldn't think this would be a problem as it follows the factory wiring harness all the way back. The control system is the Airforce RC1. Sry, don't see where I can attach a pic to this reply.

Line length doesn't matter it just can't be kinked, but you would like for them to be the same length. If you click "Go Advanced" for the post you can add attachments. And you can always post an image link if you use Photobucket, Shutterfly etc. Almost sounds like there isn't enough pressure in the bag to raise the car up since you say they will extend all the way when on the lift.

Changing the line size wont change the amount of pressure in the bags but rather the flow. You can raise it up and down faster with a larger line, it is also harder to fine tune your height since more air flows into the bag at a given time with the larger line.

So found out that there was a discrepancy between the actual tank pressure and what the Airforce remote was reading which is why the front bags would t inflate all the way. Tank was only at around 60 psi when the gauge said 200 psi. After changing out the pressure transducer the problem still persistent. Had a couple of other shops look at it and came to the conclusion that the controller was bad. After many failed attempts getting Airforce to correct the problem, ended up just bypassing it and running a traditional pressure switch with a standard gauge. Very frustrated as all this was close to 5k and would highly recommend not buying Airforce products because of lack of customer service and support. Never dealt with such a horrible company that denies any mistake or defect that they're company has done. DO NOT BUY Airforce products!

Glad you found the issue but sorry to hear that AirForce was no help in supporting the product. I only have AirForce bags and went with Accuair for management because of the fear for lack of support. Got any picks of your car aired out?
