  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Hi,
I'm new to this site. I'm interested in purchasing a new 2015 Genesis AWD with only a Signature Package. Am I limited to certain colors? I don't see any local dealers selling the this specific car in Montecito Blue or Ibiza Blue. One dealer told me the Ibiza is not out yet and another dealer told me it can't be purchased with our adding on other packages. I found 1 car in Montecito (in New Jersey) over 30 miles away but it has more than the Signature package. I live on Long Island in New York.

I don't want black or white. I may have to buy one in Santiago Silver, Empire State Grey or Perisian Grey. Your thoughts?

There is a Manhattan Brown available at my local dealer with the Signature package but my husband doesn't like the color.

Also, is there is place to go online to find out what others have paid for the same car with the same exact options and add-ons? What the reductions did purchasers receive and how much such as prior buyer? veteren discount? There are currently offers which end this month. Is there a way to find out if incentive offers will be available in December? I don't want to be pressured to purchase a car today!

Looking to update and upgrade your Genesis luxury sport automobile? Look no further than right here in our own forum store - where orders are shipped immediately!
You can view the color combinations on the Hyundai website, which may vary based on Package selection. Many car sales people will tell you a color is not available if they don't have it in stock (or on the way). Don't believe anything they tell you unless you verify it. The best thing to do is check around to different dealer websites and see what they have in stock. But it may be hard to find the exact color and package you want unless you willing to wait. If you are willing to wait, then tell the dealer to find one for you and that you are willing to wait a specific amount of time until they find one. Just remember that you can get warranty service at any dealer, even if you purchased somewhere else.

Most people are getting close to dealer invoice these days on a Genesis, due in part to the fact that the dealer gets a 3% of MSRP holdback from Hyundai after the sale (which means the dealer invoice price is not really what they pay for the car). There are a lot of websites that will tell you what the dealer invoice price is.

Loyalty, competitive, and military, etc discounts usually get renewed each month, even though they have an expiration date listed. The expiration date is done to make you feel like it is urgent to purchase right now before they expire.

I personally like Santiago Silver and Perisian Grey, but that is totally a matter of personal preference.

First things first. :welcome: to the forum. Everyone on here is very helpful.

Ibiza Blue only comes in the Ultimate package. It took me a few months to locate my exact color combo (Montecito Blue with Beige interior) here in South Florida so you might want to be patient. You might want to rethink your options and look into the HUD (Heads Up Display) that comes with the better packages. This feature is amazing. I highly recommend going to your local dealer and test driving one with this option.

Use the link below to build the one you want then at the end select "Inventory Search". When building it, skip the dealer options section. Try different (nearby cities) area codes to allow you to search other cities. Once you have located one, go to that specific dealers website for more information.

You can also use Cargurus.com or Autotrader.com to search local dealers. Both work very well.

I wanted a Pamplona Red AWD. There was not one presently in or scheduled to come to my region. My dealer was able to preference a not-yet-built one out of Korea and I got it in a little under 2 months.

The "better packages" are the ones you can afford and which have only the options you want.

Yes my dealer found one in Korea that was going to be shipped and managed to get it allocated to him. I waited 6 weeks for it. My wife would only accept that color combo. It was worth it. Got a car with no standing time on the lot and one nobody test drove it or sat in it except of the service people.
