Genesis 3.8 19" wheel upgrade

Hi everyone,

I have a 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8 sedan in Parisian Gray and I am wondering if any other owners have upgraded to 19" alloy wheels from the standard 18".

The 19" wheels from the 5.0 version are very expensive (over $1,000 each) but I was offered two 19" wheel options from the dealer for about $1,000 for four.

I like the standard 18" wheels but think the car would look better with a larger wheel.

Any pictures and details of the upgrade would be appreciated.

seems like a great deal for the wheels.

I think it would probably be easier for you to just google pictures of the 5.0 to get an idea of what the wheels would look like on your car.

The dealer offered me two other types of 19" wheels for about $1,000 for four, but I cannot seem to find images of those on the Genesis sedan.

That is why I am asking anyone who has upgraded their wheels on the 3.8 from 18" to 19" to share them.

These might not be standard Hyundai wheels, at least I am not aware of an upgrade option on the 3.8 to go from 18" to 19" on any of the models you an configure online. Your dealer may have a way to get the 19's from the 5.0 model to put onto your car, or they might be using a non Hyundai branded wheel to meet your request. I can't find a wheel that is factory installed on the 3.8 model other than the standard 18" wheel shown on their Website.

The rear Genesis 19" wheels are under $700 online. I assume the fronts are less. But, that is still expensive.

Call Steve at Dr du Pare Brise in Blainville. He has access to many possibilities and his pricing is better than anything I have ever seen on line. He set me up with 17" wheels for my Gen1 V8 which were impossible to fit due to caliper clearance but he did. At the time they were only $125 each. He has treated me well on all our cars for all our needs. He is also the one who installs all my Drone Mobile units.
