  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

For July

Genesis - $60,096
Audi - $59,704
BMW - $59,378

Mercedes - $68,748 (Merc's ATP has been higher than usual)

Alfa Romeo - $48,211
Volvo - $55,756

Lexus - $51,490
Infiniti - $52,227
Acura - $45,702

ATP can vary a bit month to month depending on what sells/has supply, but Genesis' ATP was on par with BMW and Audi for June as well.

The addition of the GV60 should drop the down a little, but the additions of the electric G80 and GV70 and the new G90 should bump it back up.

The replacement for the G70 should also be seeing a significant price increase (making it more in line with the GV70).

audi and bmw seem higher than i thought with how many cheap cars they have. you can get into an x1/q3 or 2 series/a3 for under 40k where Genesis's cheapest model starts at 40k.

^ Mercedes has numerous lower end FWD models as well - CLA, A Class, GLA, GLB, etc.

Historically, BMW has been closer to MB (both being a good bit above Audi), but the chip shortage has played havoc with supply/what's available, so BMW's ATP has fallen whereas MB's ATP has surged (the new S Class and in demand G Wagon sales have helped in that regard).

While Genesis doesn't yet have a sub-entry model (the GV60 being the 1st but will be on the higher end of the price-scale due to being a BEV), Genesis doesn't have performance or PHEV variants to boost prices within segments.

Also, the current G70 (as well as the G90) are a good bit lower in price compared to the competition, but that should change with the next gen models (which should be getting electric variants as well).

Latest ATP nos. show Genesis increasing its lead over Audi, but not surprisingly, slipping behind BMW (usually, BMW's ATP Is higher than Audi's, so July's seems to be a blip out of the norm).

Genesis - $60k

Audi - $57.5k
BMW - $60k
Mercedes - $75.4k

Lexus - $53.3k
Infiniti - $52k
Acura - $48k
