I parked next to a newer ES 350 today, same color as my car. The Genny was 20% larger, or there abouts. At my next stop I parked next to a new CTS, the same. A couple of spots down an Audi A6 looked a lot smaller.
On to the grocery store and parked next to what looked like one of the last of the Buick LeSabre's. Size appeared to be about the same.
Size, price, reliability, quality, if Buick was still producing their traditional lineup the Genesis could easily have been the top of the line Buick.
I know here in Florida a lot of the people who would have bought a Buick or Olds are driving the Genesis, older, value oriented buyers who don't care about the MB or BMW badge but want great reliability and a larger car with a quality feel to the materials. Way above an Impala but not an S class in price or complexity.
