  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis computer too slow?

My 2011 was so much better in voice recognition It saddens me that more attention was not given to what I consider to be a very important element of a good luxury car specially given the what I think is a very well engineered car. Not to get off the topic but I’ve said this before my 2007 Infiniti G35X had the very best and largest voice recognition system I have seen yet. Surely from that time if we didn’t improve we sure shouldn’t have regressed. I hear there is some improvement in the newest NAV update but is it even as good as my 2011…doubt it. To those that say “it’s really not that important” I say any time I have to take my eyes off the road while driving is dangerous to me and my passengers. That’s one of the reason I embrace things like the HUD and any other technology that can help avoid it.

Siri is the worst system I have tried for voice recognition, period. I don't get how Apple fanboys praise such a pathetic system like Siri

If Apple can't do it, the fanboyz will try to convince you that you didn't want/need to do it to begin with!
