  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis contender for COTY from motortrend

Yes the GT-R has tranny problems but it is still an amazing car, and the problems will be fixed. Just because it doesnt have a broad appeal and has a high price tag shouldnt exclude it from the competition, especially when it is blowing the doors off cars 4 times its price

in a sense i don't want to take anything away from the GTR, it is an amazing car. BUT when you have to void the warranty to achieve those things, which oh by the way are the published performance numbers for the car, it doesn't count. i am sure Nissan will fix it, but it seems to me they put the car on the road before they had it all figured out. if volkswagen can figure out how to get over 1000 HP to the ground, nissan can do it with 530.

very good point Zed. I am sure nissan will fix the granny problems but it isn't fair to state the #s and then tell customers they will void their warranty to get them
