  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

i was unfortunate & surprised that my 3 months old genesis 2.0 t premium sunroof was leaking. took it back to the dealer and they refer me to capital auto glass and it take 2 days to fixed it and all under warranty. hopefully it won't happen to all the genesis owners out there. just a heads up

Don't know just when your sunroof leaks, (while driving in the rain, when parked, etc???) however here is what happened to me when I owned a Honda EX (worse modern day car I've ever owned). When I had the Honda parked outside, in the rain, the next time I would drive the car, both when backing up, and when going forward and coming to a stop, I had water pouring down on my head. Took it to dealer, but always got the same lame answer that they could not duplicate the problem. Always made me feel like Hondas don't give problem. Well, I did some investigating, and with a water hose, I found that when I put water into the "tray" under the sunroof, the water would drain out both the front drains (under the two A Posts) but would only drain from the right rear drain under the C Post. I WAS THE ONE THAT HAD TO TELL THE DEALER WHERE THE PROBLEM WAS. The took it apart, and found that the drain hose for the left rear C Post was kinked, causing water to pool in the roof, causing it to pour down on me when I came to a stop.

Got rid of that car, after many other problems, and got a Camry which never gave me any problems. To this day, I refuse to buy a Honda.

it was parked in my driveway and it was raining all night and my back leather rear seats was wet as well. aside from that leak problem im pretty much happy with my genesis love my car hopefully it wont leak again in the future.

My sunroof is squeaking when its cold, opening it makes the noise go away. The right rear corner has the gasket rolling up sometimes, need to see if it starts leaking.

i have a 5 month old coupe and both the sunroof glass and windshield has been popping and cracking and the sunroof cover has a slow creep. dealer said they couldn't do anything, so i'm letting it ride. hopefully the cracking and popping quits by the next oil change or i'm going to have to pitch a fit. he said it's "settling". had to explain that its a car, not a house. :| the sunroof creep, while annoying, isn't epic. disappointing, but not epic.
