  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Forum Support

So, my lets make a deal splash screen is back. I believe it has to do with how aggressive my IT adblocker is here at work. It only blocks "suspect" ads however I see most ads on this site.

There are certain pages that load fine (with appropriate ads) and then those that hit the splash screen because there was an ad blocked by my IT dept. Just thought I would let you know my inductive reasoning.

From this point on this should not be a problem. You MAY need to log out and back in again - or clear cache and cookies for genesisowners.com...

I used to be able to use tapatalk for here...what happened?

Hey Sal, this is the message I've sent you ~8 days ago:
I see the forum has been doing much better the past 4-5 days, I really appreciate it.
I've been browsing thru the forum past days without logging in, with ublock enable/disable and there was no problems, no lags, everything runs fast. It was using my mobile internet (Verizon) while being on the road.
Now, that I got home and switched to my home network (comcast) pages load muuuuuch slower, I mean it "connects to....." takes as much as 3-8 sec., redirecting to home page and lots of blank pages again, which didn't appeared using Verizon network.

Whatever you did last time to fix my account, can you do that again, please?!

Once again - everything works perfect using Verizon mobile network.

Another 8 days passed and my problem isn't resolved....

Sal, it would be a good time to try to do something about it, I'm staying home til friday, therefore, I'm using my static IP address which is from Comcast.

As I mentioned last week, everything works perfect using dynamic IP from Verizon.

Sorry for the delay. I was involved in a major car accident and have been recovering and staying off line for the most part. The Genesis wasn't involved. In case anyone is curious I was driving a Toyota Camry that is now totaled. Not my fault, thank goodness. I'm recovering...

I'm going to look into this problem now, make a few changes and hope for the best. If that doesn't work my new plan B is to create a new account for you - test that out - and if it's working fine from Comcast - merge your old account into the new one and keep my fingers crossed. In any event - I hope what I do right now makes a difference...

Sal....we all hope you are OK, especially the Genesis! .................. just kidding :D

Man, what a relieve when I just got home from the airport, logged in and ....BAM! :D

Hopefully, we won't have to use your plan B .....thanks!
