  • Hint: Use a descriptive title for your new message
If you're looking for help and want to draw people in who can assist you, use a descriptive subject title when posting your message. In other words, "I need help with my car" could be about anything and can easily be overlooked by people who can help. However, "I need help with my transmission" will draw interest from people who can help with a transmission specific issue. Be as descriptive as you can. Please also post in the appropriate forum. The "Lounge" is for introducing yourself. If you need help with your G70, please post in the G70 section - and so on... This message can be closed by clicking the X in the top right corner.

Genesis Free NACS Adapter Thread: Post Your Updates

I just checked the Tesla Supercharger map and the true V4 supercharger in Redwood City now shows up as available for NACS partners.

If that is accurate we can tell the which type of charger we are pulling up to based on the rated power:

250 KW = V3
325 KW = V3.5
500 KW = V4

Anybody in the Bay Area that would like to go give it a short test charge just to verify?

Update:

Called 10/13: given a case number (again), said they'd get back to me. Nada.

Called 12/15: given a new case number because the old one had expired (despite no contact from Genesis) Huh?

E-mailed 12/28: We'll see (not holding my breath)

It's definitely seeming more and more that Genesis' aim is to delay and delay until the customer gives up.

I won't give them that satisfaction.

Also, why do they bother sending this automated response???

It only makes their subsequent failure to follow-up look even worse!!!!

Update:

Much to my surprise, Genesis DID actually respond to my 12/28 email.

Unsurprisingly, the response stated only that my case was being researched, and apologizing for any inconvenience caused.

LOL 😖🤦‍♂️
